This Privacy Policy explains what data PeakBridger ("we", "us") collects when you visit peakbridger.de, play on our Minecraft server, or use our Discord server, and what we do with it.
PeakBridger is the operator of the peakbridger.de website and the associated Minecraft network. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@peakbridger.de or through our Discord server.
Browsing peakbridger.de doesn't require an account. The homepage's live status widget queries a public third-party status API using only our server address — no personal data about you is sent to it.
See our Discord Bot Privacy Policy for details specific to the bot.
All payments and purchases on PeakBridger — including ranks, cosmetics, or any other store item — are handled entirely by CraftingStore (craftingstore.net), a third-party store and payment provider. We do not collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or other checkout data ourselves.
When you make a purchase, you're providing your payment information directly to CraftingStore and, in turn, to their own upstream payment processors. That data is governed by CraftingStore's own privacy policy and terms, not this one — we'd encourage you to review those before purchasing. We only receive the minimum information needed to know a purchase happened and to deliver what you bought (for example, your Minecraft username and the item purchased).
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, we rely on: legitimate interest (running, securing, and moderating the Service), consent (for optional things like applying for a role), and contract (to fulfill a purchase you made through CraftingStore).
We don't sell your data. We share it only where necessary to run the Service:
We keep data only as long as we need it: moderation and ban records are generally kept for as long as needed to enforce them, chat logs are rotated periodically, and application/ticket transcripts are kept long enough to review appeals. You can ask us to delete data that isn't legally required to be kept — see Section 8.
If GDPR or a similar law applies to you, you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; request a copy of your data in a portable format; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us using the details in Section 14 to exercise any of these.
Several of our staff and content roles require a minimum age of 14 or 15 — see the Apply page. Discord's own minimum age (currently 13) applies to our Discord server. We don't knowingly collect more data from minors than is necessary to operate the Service. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us data beyond that, contact us and we'll address it.
The website itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies you encounter are limited to what's strictly necessary for the page to function, or come from an embedded third-party service (for example, CraftingStore's own checkout pages).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or stored by the Service.
Some of the third parties we rely on (including Discord and CraftingStore) may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available, such as standard contractual clauses.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect that. Material changes may also be announced on our Discord.
Questions about this policy, or want to exercise your data rights? Email privacy@peakbridger.de or reach us on our Discord server.
